From 14 to 18 October 2026, the 41st Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) brought Indonesian exporters and international buyers together at ICE BSD City, Tangerang. Unggul Ekspor (PT Triasa Nusa Globalindo) joined the fair to meet global buyers face to face, build new partnerships and expand our international network. Here is what TEI 2026 looked like, what the results say about demand for Indonesian products, and how to continue the conversation with us.
TEI 2026 in numbers
Organised by the Ministry of Trade under the theme “The Ultimate Hub for Global Sourcing”, TEI 2026 was opened on 14 October by Coordinating Minister Bahlil Lahadalia on behalf of President Prabowo Subianto. At the close on 18 October, Trade Minister Budi Santoso announced the results:
| Indicator | TEI 2026 |
|---|---|
| Potential transactions | US$22.94 billion |
| Against target (US$17.5 billion) | 131% |
| Exhibitors | 1,873 |
| Registered buyers | 9,600 from 151 countries |
| Visitors | More than 45,000 |
| MSME transactions | US$510.79 million |
The total was also higher than the US$22.68 billion recorded at TEI 2025.

Where the demand came from
By transaction value, the leading buyer countries were India, the Netherlands, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates and Japan. Food and beverages, jewellery, wood products and agricultural products were among the top product categories. For an exporter of charcoal, coffee and spices, that is an encouraging signal: buyers are actively sourcing Indonesian food and agricultural products, and markets such as the Middle East and Europe were well represented.
Why we were there
Most of our buyers find us online, but a trade fair gives something a website cannot: the chance to see the product, ask detailed questions and meet the team behind it. At TEI we focused on the three pillars of our business:
- Charcoal: coconut shell shisha and BBQ briquettes, hardwood charcoal and activated carbon.
- Coffee: Robusta, Arabica, Liberica and Excelsa from Bali and East Java, green and roasted.
- Spices: ginger, turmeric, white and black pepper and cloves.
Every conversation came back to the same essentials: specifications that match the market, samples before orders, OEM packaging under the buyer’s brand and clear commercial terms, including our staged 50/20/30 T/T.
